Do they need to know anything about Cornwall?No, absolutely not! As soon as you sign up, a map is provided with key places in Cornwall for you to keep and refer to. The more letters you receive, the more you build a picture of the area.

Can I cancel anytime?If you have purchased a recurring subscription of course! We believe in keeping things flexible. If for any reason you need to pause or cancel your subscription, just let us know, and we'll take care of it. No hard feelings! If you purchased a 12 month or 6 month pre paid subscription then you will need to drop us an email as it depends on how far into your subscription you are.

What's inside the letters?Ah, that's the best part! Each letter is like opening a treasure chest. Inside, your child will find an original story from Penrose, telling them all about an aspect of Cornwall. Each letter speaks directly to the child and weaves the topic into a story for them. Along with the letter you will find a postcard with a fun activities, puzzles, recipes and surprises to keep them entertained and inspired.

How does it work?It's super easy! Once you sign up, your child will receive a letter straight away, with an introduction from Penrose, a passport and a map of Cornwall. As soon as the next postage day begins they will start receiving a delightful letter each month, addressed personally to them. Each letter is features a story of mischievous piskies, ancient legends, and fascinating insights into Cornish culture. It is a chance to learn and explore Cornwall.
